Dear all,
I have contacted a few coach hire companies. Seems going by coach is much cheaper than going by train! =)
We're planning to depart from UEA, Security Lodge at 6pm on the 24th of November and coming back from Milton Keynes at 4pm on the 26th of November.
The coach we're hiring can take up to 16 people and it will cost us £320. This price is including pick-up, delivery and a driver! =)
The 16-people minibus is quite small and has limited baggage space, so I'd like to suggest everyone keep your baggage minimum (a backpack is good enough). COCM will provide everything we need to stay overnight including pillows, duvet and shower facilities. Meals are provided with tea and coffee break in between.
Things you need to bring:
1. Remember to bring yourself! =) PlEASE BE ON TIME!
2. Bible! =) Our spiritual food
3. Notebook and a pen
4. Personal stuff like shampoo, tooth brush, contact lens solutions..etc
5. Cash or cheque to pay to COCM upon arrival to Milton Keynes (£30)
6. Cash to pay for your minibus fare ( I will tell everyone the break-down later)
7. There's a book shop where you can buy Christian books and small gift. If you're planning to spend some money on book, remember to bring some extra cash.
Finally, I'd like to address that Encounter weekend is intended for those who are desiring a more intimate relationship with God. You will learn how to deal with life issues in your past and experience healing through the Cross of Christ, allowing you to receive His love in a deeper way.

Today is horrible, I received a text from my manager, which said it is not possible to set two days off for April and me.then I received second message from him,which said he can try best to let us go at 3pm 25th. When I was writing a message to tell him that April and me actually have to go at 24th night, my mobile was suddenly stuck,and then powered off to show its death...
I had no option but to buy a new handset, so I went to city center at noon, however, my debit card has lost 7 weeks already, my bank sent me 4 new cards but none of them arrived!!!! without debit card I cant buy mobile, I went to bank and check it again whether my fifth card was ready. A staff told me it has ready but in university's branch. What's the hell is it?! I told them thousands times that do not sent my card either to China (which they did twice) or campus. it was 3pm, the time university branch close I had no time to pick up my new card today.
however, the staff soon brought me a good news that they can get the card for me in 2 hours if I can wait. of course I do.
finally when two hours passed, I got my new card and rushed to buy mobile.
but the card wasn't live, it was the last one which being wrongly sent to university and being claimed by city branch as lost and therfore being already cancelld. it was certainly captured agian when I used it at ATM!!!!!!!!!!!
totally mad when I went back home, really got upset!
the day was gone, and I did nothing.... it was the only day I am free in this week and there are three essays and one presentation need be done by next week....
